Sri Lanka’s producer price index (PPI) for all economic activities was 249.7 in July this year, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 5 per cent, according to official statistics.

The PPI for the manufacturing sector was 253.2 in the month, a YoY growth of 5.3 per cent.

The index for apparel manufacturing went up by 10 per cent YoY and 0.3 per cent MoM in the month, while the index for textile manufacturing dropped by 0.7 per cent YoY and remained unchanged MoM.
