The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026, along with the list of top-ranking candidates. The candidate securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 scored 641 marks out of 720.
The top 20 candidates in NEET PG 2026 scored between 614 and 641 marks. The rank list has been prepared based on candidates’ scores and the applicable tie-breaking criteria.

NEET PG 2026 exam and re-examination
NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30. However, candidates appearing at the iON Digital Zone iDZ centre in Sitapura, Jaipur, were unable to complete the examination due to an internal power failure.
NBEMS subsequently conducted a re-examination for the affected candidates on September 5 in Jaipur.
According to the result data, 2,63,544 candidates appeared for the August 30 exam, while 2,416 candidates appeared in the September 5 re-examination.
NEET PG 2026 cut-off
NBEMS has also announced the qualifying cut-off for admission to MD, MS, DNB Direct 6 Years and postgraduate medical diploma courses.
The qualifying criteria are:
General/EWS: 50th percentile, 262 marks
General PwBD: 45th percentile, 244 marks
SC/ST/OBC, including PwBD: 40th percentile, 226 marks
Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria can proceed to the next stages of the postgraduate medical admission process as per the applicable counselling schedule.
