Sunray Resorts Managing Director I.A. Raja Varma on Monday said that tourism in North Andhra region would get a boost with the construction of Alluri Sitarama Raju international airport in Vizianagaram-Bhogapuram-Visakhapatnam route within no time as the airport provides air connectivity for national and international passengers.
Mr. Varma received the best Theme Resort award from Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh on the occasion of World Tourism Day celebrations held in Rajamahendravaram.
Mr. Varma stated in a release that Sunray Resorts got this award seventh time while saying that the award motivated the team to improve services at par with international standards to the visitors.
He said that new star hotels are being constructed within the resorts with the increasing demand for accommodation in the vicinity of the airport.
