About Cherry Muffins Recipe
I always enjoy baking muffins at home. I had a batch of cherries recently and thought of turning them into these simple eggless wheat cherry muffins. They turned out really good, with little juicy cherry pieces in every bite. Check my Cherry Loaf Cake Recipe.
I have used whole wheat flour and jaggery(brown sugar) to keep the muffins simple and wholesome. The batter comes together quickly in one bowl using simple ingredients and no special preparation needed.
The recipe is super simple. You just mix wheat flour, baking soda, salt, jaggery or brown sugar together. Pour the wet ingredients like milk, butter into the dry ingredients and make the batter. Finally add in either fresh cherries, or candied cherries and make the batter.
These muffins are perfect for a quick breakfast, lunch box or an evening snack with a cup of tea or coffee. They are also a nice way to use up fresh cherries when they are in season.
