IIT Delhi has the highest representation, with 11 alumni included in the Hurun U35 List 2026. Those named in the report include Pawan Guptalu, Pawan Kumar Chandana, Rohan Nayak, Abhishek Bansal, Ramanshu Mahor and Nilesh Garg.

The report lists the entrepreneurs in the 34–35 age group, with Rohan Nayak reported to be 34 years old.

IIT Bombay’s position in the institutional ranking reportedly declined by three places compared with the previous year.

The postgraduate rankings place IIT Madras and the Indian School of Business (ISB) jointly at the top, with five alumni each.

The names cited in this category include Arvind Srinivas, Sachin Santosh, Raunak Bhinge, Tapan Agarwal, Dhvanil Gandhi and Karan Chopra.

IIT Bombay has four alumni in the postgraduate category, while IIT Kharagpur has three. Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan, IIT Kanpur and Stanford University have two alumni each.

Delhi University is among the non-IIT institutions represented in the ranking.

The number of alumni featured reflects representation in the Hurun list; it does not, by itself, measure the overall entrepreneurial success of graduates from these institutions.
