The European Commission has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties ranging from 39.8 per cent to 48.1 per cent on imports of PET spunbond from China for five years.

The investigation found that the product was entering the European Union (EU) at dumped prices and causing injury to EU industry, the Commission said in a press release.

Provisional duties ranging from 45.6 per cent to 50 per cent had been in force since May 2026.

The EU industry affected by the dumped imports is located in Germany, Italy and France, and the EU market for PET spunbond is worth €200 million (~$222 million).
