AISSEE Result 2026: As per the official information brochure, the Sainik School results are set to be announced six weeks after the exam.

AISSEE Sainik School Result 2026: Students who participated in the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2026 are eagerly awaiting their results. The examination took place on January 18, 2026. The NTA recently released its provisional answer key, and the final results and answer key are expected to be announced soon.
Looking at past year trends, the AISSEE 2025 scorecards were released on May 22, 2025 whereas in 2024, it was declared on March 14. As per the official information brochure, the Sainik School results are set to be announced six weeks after the exam, hence it is expected to be out by the first or second week of March. However, the exact date and time is yet to be announced by the authorities.
Once out, the results will be available at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. Admission to Sainik School is considered a significant step towards becoming an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. This year, the cut-offs are anticipated to be higher. Once the official results are published, successful candidates must register for the e-counselling process (AISSAC). Schools will be allocated based on rank and preferences.
AISSEE 2026: How To Download All India Sainik School Entrance Exam Scorecard?
After the release of the results, you can log in by entering your application number and date of birth on the NTA’s official portal, exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. The scorecard will display your total marks, subject-wise performance, and qualifying status.
Note that passing the entrance exam alone does not guarantee admission to a Sainik School. Final selection will be based on school-wise and category-wise merit lists, with separate cut-off marks for General, OBC, SC, ST, and Defence quotas. Merit is determined out of 300 marks for Class 6 and 400 marks for Class 9.
E-Counselling (AISSAC) And School Allotment
Following the release of the written examination results, candidates will need to register on the Sainik Schools Society’s counselling portal and select their preferred schools. The first admission list is expected to be released by the end of March.
Medical Test Is Mandatory For Admission In Sainik School
After names appear on the All India Sainik School Exam Result Merit List 2026, students will be called for medical examinations at designated military hospitals. Documents of candidates who are found physically fit will be verified. The final admission process will be completed by April-May 2026.
