The collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala on Housefull 5 is turning out to be a success story at the box office. After an encouraging start of Rs. 24.35 crores, Housefull 5 saw a very good jump in business on Saturday. According to early estimates, the comedy film is expected to collect in the range of Rs. 30 crores to Rs. 32 crores, bringing the two-day collection to approximately Rs. 55 crores.
The film has seen a 25 percent jump across the national multiplex chains, and a 40 percent jump in non-national chains and single screens, taking the average all-India growth to 35 percent. The Akshay Kumar comedy will score an opening weekend of about Rs. 90 crores, and will enter the Rs. 100 crore club in just 4 days.
Housefull 5 is on track to emerge a hit, though a good hold on Monday is a must for the same.
