Assam NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Eligible candidates who have cleared NEET UG 2025 can participate in the counselling process via the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has released the schedule for the first round of online counselling for first-year MBBS and BDS courses in government medical and dental colleges of Assam for the 2025 session. Eligible candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 and meet the state quota criteria can participate in the counselling process via the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.
Online registration for counselling will commence on July 24 and will conclude at 11:55 PM on July 29, 2025. After registration, online choice filling will be available from July 30 to August 2. The provisional seat allotment result will be declared on August 6.

Assam NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Steps To Register
Step 1: Visit the official website — dme.assam.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical’ section.
Step 3: Enter the ‘New Login Registration’ available under the candidate activity board.
Step 4: Enter the login details as asked such as NEET UG roll number, password and security pin.
Step 5: Fill up the application form and submit the application form.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee.
Step 7: Download the copy and take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference.
Assam NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents Required
Candidates are supposed to carry both original and photocopies of the above-mentioned documents for the institute reporting or document verification rounds.

— Six to eight passport-sized photographs

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to hear a plea seeking a re-test of the NEET UG 2025 for candidates who allegedly faced power cuts during the exam in Madhya Pradesh.
