The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has published the answer key for the objective-type questions of the Intermediate Annual (Theory) Examination 2026. Students can download the answer key from the official BSEB website and submit objections online by 5 pm on March 6th.
The board has uploaded answer keys for all theory subjects across Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational courses. These were prepared by subject experts. Any objections to the questions or answers can be submitted online. Late submissions will not be entertained. The board will review all objections, and if necessary, issue a revised answer key.
In the Intermediate Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational stream theory exams, objective questions constituted 50% of the total marks. Students answered these on OMR sheets. To raise an objection, students must log in with their roll code and roll number, select the relevant subject, and submit their objection.
Evaluation Process Begins
The evaluation of intermediate answer sheets has commenced in various districts. Muzaffarpur district has set up five evaluation centres. On the first day, about 6% of the copies were checked, but only 1% of data entry was completed.
Chapman Evaluation Centre checked the highest number of copies, with 3,072 out of 58,850 copies of English, Urdu, and Psychology. The District School Centre received 56,171 copies of Hindi, with 3% checked and almost all data entry completed. DN High School received 55,130 copies of Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Computer Science, with 3% checked but no data entry done. Marwari High School is checking Accountancy, Philosophy, History, and Economics copies, with 512 checked and entered on the first day. Mukherjee Seminary School is checking Geography and Home Science copies, with about 3% checked on the first day.
Bihar Board is expected to release the Matriculation and Intermediate results by the end of March. Students can check their results on the official BSEB websites. This year, 1,317,846 students registered for the Intermediate exam, while 1,512,963 appeared for the Matriculation exam. Students are now waiting for the completion of the answer key evaluation process before results are released.
