BMW has officially revealed the M3 Touring racer (24H) prior to its debut at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring 2026, set to begin towards the end of March. Compared to the standard M3 Touring, this race-spec M3 Touring 24H is 200mm longer while also being 32mm higher than the M4 GT3 EVO. The exterior of the M3 Touring 24H currently wears a mostly-black colour scheme with a generous spattering of social-media comments from enthusiasts and fans received when it was first unveiled as an April Fool’s Joke last year. However, the car will enter the Nurburgring wearing a different livery. Apart from the illuminated kidney grille, there are plenty of large carbon-fibre bits including the front splitter, rear wing and bumper. The 18-inch wheels, sporting red and blue accents, feature bespoke Yokohama tyres.

Power comes from a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine that is shared with the M4 GT3 EVO, where it produces up to 590hp. A 6-speed sequential gearbox handles transmission duties, while the power from the engine is sent to the rear wheels. Braking is provided by 390mm front discs with six-piston calipers and 380mm rear discs with four-piston calipers. However, BMW is yet to disclose performance figures of the M3 Touring 24H.
