Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh and director R S Prasanna attended an interesting panel during the Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2025 and promoted their much-awaited film, Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir gave some interesting replies to questions asked by the audience.
Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2025: Aamir Khan talks about favourite performances of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan: “Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg 1, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge…”; adds, “I have not seen Pathaan, Jawan”
A fan asked Aamir Khan about his favourite performances of his contemporaries, that is, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. After thinking for a few seconds, Aamir Khan answered, “My favourite performance of Salman Khan is Bajrangi Bhaijaan. And also first part of Dabangg.”
He added, “I really love Shah Rukh’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, though it was a long time back. Even Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was one of my favourite films of Shah Rukh. I have not seen his latest films like Pathaan and Jawan.”
Aamir was asked about a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna as well. He replied, “Scripts have to come out organically. Rajkumar Santoshi is working on a version of Andaz Apna Apna 2. It’s too early for me to say. Until the script is ready and unless Salman and I don’t love what he narrates, the film won’t be made. Hence, it is in the early stages right now. Let’s hope he comes up with a good script.”
Genelia Deshmukh was asked about Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’s sequel. She said, “You need to ask AKP (Aamir Khan Productions). I honestly feel that it’s a journey and it needs to stop somewhere.” Aamir agreed and added, “If Abbas Tyrewala comes up with a great script for part two, we can make it.”
Genelia quipped, “As long as you don’t change the actress!”
Aamir Khan said on a serious note, “Once you make a great film, you don’t want to mess with it. Hence, we can make a sequel only when we feel the script is deserving whether it’s Andaz Apna Apna or even Sarfarosh.”
