CBSE Board Exams 2026 Live Updates: Aim Is To Reduce Workload After Class 10, 12 Exams, Says CBSE Controller


CBSE Class 10th, 12th Exams 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting a live webcast to present the guidelines for the Class 10 and 12 Board Examinations 2026. The Board will cover examination guidelines and explain the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for class 12 as well the dual board exam process for class 10 students. CBSE Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj is explaining guidelines for class 10 and 12 board exams — he is explaining the role of students as well as of superintendent. Meanwhile CBSE Chairperson Rahul Singh too has announced that some major changes will be introduced next year too.

As per the CBSE Board Exam 2026 schedule, the 10th and 12th Board Examinations will begin on February 17. The Class 10 exams will kick off with Mathematics (Standard and Basic), while the Class 12 exams will start with Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, Shorthand (English), and Shorthand (Hindi). The Class 10 exams will conclude on March 10, and the Class 12 exams will wrap up on April 9. This year, approximately 46 lakh students have registered for the exams, which will be conducted at 8,074 centres across India and abroad.
