CBSE canceled Class 10 exams and postponed Class 12 exams in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE due to the current regional situation.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled Class 10 board examinations and postponed a Class 12 exam for its affiliated schools in several Middle Eastern countries after reviewing the prevailing situation in the region.
In an official circular issued on Thursday, the board said the decision applies to CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

For Class 10 students, all examinations scheduled between March 7 and March 11, 2026, have been cancelled. The board also said that exams which had earlier been postponed and were set to take place on March 2, March 5 and March 6 will also stand cancelled.
CBSE said the decision was taken after assessing the situation in the region, and further updates regarding rescheduling or alternative arrangements will be communicated later.
