Although certain reports suggest that CBSE Class 10 and 12 results might be declared tomorrow, officials have informed News18.com that this is unlikely. Following its usual practice, the board is expected to release the results without advance notice to manage website traffic efficiently and avoid server disruptions.
This approach helps ensure that students can access their results smoothly without facing technical glitches caused by heavy online traffic.
For the 2024–25 academic session, around 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board examinations.
Once declared, students will be able to access their secondary (Class 10) and senior secondary (Class 12) results through the official CBSE websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.
Past Trends: When Did CBSE Declare Results?
CBSE has consistently released Class 12 results around mid-May in recent years.
In 2024, the results were declared on May 13.
In 2023, they were announced on May 12.
In 2022, however, the results were delayed until July 22 due to pandemic-related disruptions.
To be declared pass in either Class 10 or 12, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. In cases where a student narrowly misses the pass mark—by just one or two marks—CBSE may consider awarding grace marks to help them qualify.
