The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Regional Office Delhi (East) has issued a warning regarding the circulation of unauthentic and duplicate mark sheets, certificates, and document corrections. Accurate and official information on these matters can only be found on the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in.
Other unofficial platforms are neither affiliated with nor authorised by CBSE in any capacity. Relying on these sources may lead to misinformation, financial loss, or other serious consequences, the board stated in an official notice.
CBSE advises all students, parents, and stakeholders to rely exclusively on official notifications issued by the Board through its website, regional offices, or verified communication channels.
“It has come to the notice of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Regional Office Delhi (East) that certain unauthorised sources are circulating misleading information claiming to offer quick solutions for the issuance of duplicate mark sheets, certificates, and document corrections,” states the official notice.
“The CBSE strongly condemns the dissemination of such unauthentic and potentially deceptive information. These unofficial platforms are not affiliated with or authorised by CBSE in any capacity. Relying on such sources may lead to misinformation, financial loss, or other serious consequences,” the notice added.
The board further stated that it will not be held responsible for any issues arising from information circulated through unofficial or third-party sources.
Meanwhile, the CBSE recently conducted surprise inspections in 10 schools spread across six states and Union Territories (UTs) to identify any violations of norms. The inspections took place in Assam, Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha. However, officials did not disclose the specific period during which these inspections were carried out, reported PTI.
“The primary objective of the surprise inspections was to probe, scout out and ascertain whether the schools were functioning in compliance with the Board’s norms as per the bye-laws of the Board and are not enrolling non-attending students while maintaining the academic and physical infrastructure in the school. Necessary action shall be taken after considering the reports of the Inspection Committee. CBSE is committed to upholding educational standards and will persist in enforcing stringent measures against any violations of its regulations,” a senior board official said.
