Premier League side Manchester United registered a 3-1 triumph over Hong Kong on Friday in the Mancunian side’s post-season exhibition tour of Asia.

United went behind to Hong Kong as Juninho struck in the 19th minute of the game, before a second-half brace from Chido Obi-Martin and a late strike from Ayden Heaven helped the PL giants rally from behind.

United, who had to endure a horrendous year finishing a lowly 15th in the English top flight and finish the campaign trophyless after their UEFA Europa League finals defeat to fellow English strugglers Tottenham, got their Asian tour off in troublesome fashion as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Southeast Asia XI at Kuala Lumpur and were booed following the result.

Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim went on to take a dig at the Premier League side following SEAXI’s victory over the English unit, thanks to a lone strike from Maung Maung Lwin in the 71st minute of the game.

United fell behind yet again in the game against Hong Kong, but Chido ensured that Ruben Amorim and Co. wouldn’t have to bear further embarrassment as he restored parity in the 50th minute of the game, before doubling his tally with an 82nd minute strike to turn the game on its head after Juninho’s first-half goal.

Chido’s glancing header found its way into the net as United moved into the lead for the first time in the ongoing tour, before Heaven put the final touches on the game with a goal for the Red Devils in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time.
