Geetali Gupta, a 17-year-old resident of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, has secured All India Rank 1, scoring 112.75 out of 119. She even followed this philosophy a day before the exam.
With a keen interest in political science and debating, Geetali has developed a robust preparation strategy for her English, GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quants sections. For English, she improved her reading speed and vocabulary by regularly reading newspapers and practicing sectionals. Her GK preparation relied on newspapers, the CLAT prep magazine by Toprankers-LegalEdge, and notes from online classes.
“As for English, my preparation strategy included reading the newspaper so that my reading speed could improve and I learnt new words, and I would try to practice as many sectionals as I could. For GK, I relied on newspaper and notes from the online classes. For Legal reasoning, I practised as many sectionals as I could,” Geetali told News18.
She is a student at Nosegay Public School in Ganganagar, is currently studying in class 12th with a humanities stream. She achieved an impressive 96.6% in her class 10th exams. Geetali is currently pursuing her 12th grade in the humanities stream, with subjects including political science, history, geography, economics, and English.
Geetali, who has aspirations to become a corporate lawyer, believes that self-confidence is vital in competitive exams. To future CLAT aspirants, she advises focusing on quality preparation, being consistent, and balancing hard work with social interactions to avoid isolation. Stress, she notes, only wastes energy and leads to self-doubt.
