CSIR UGC NET 2025 City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released advance notification of exam cities for the CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now find out the city in which their exam will be held. This feature has been made available on the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam will be held on December 18, 2025, at various exam centres across the country. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours). The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to noon, while the second shift will be from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Candidates are advised to check their exam city information in advance to facilitate further preparation.
How To Download Exam City Information Slip?
— To view exam city information, candidates must visit the official website and enter their Application Number and Date of Birth.
— Upon logging in, an Advance Intimation Slip with the exam city will appear on the screen, which candidates can download and print.
NTA has clarified that this is only information about the exam city and not the admit card. The CSIR UGC NET 2025 admit card will be released separately at a later date. The admit card will contain the complete address of the exam center, reporting time, and other important instructions.
“The candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for the Examination. This is only an Advance Intimation of the Exam City Allotted where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the Candidates. The Admit Card of Examination will be issued separately,” states the official notice.
The NTA advises candidates to regularly visit the websites nta.ac.in and csirnet.nta.nic.in to receive timely updates on their admit cards and other important updates. Candidates can also report their concerns by emailing csirnet@nta.ac.in.
