CSIR UGC NET June 2025: To accommodate the candidates, the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam date has been rescheduled to July 28, 2025.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the schedule for the CSIR UGC NET June Exam 2025. The exam dates have been changed due to a clash with the HTET 2024 dates. Candidates can find the revised schedule on the official NTA website at nta.ac.in.
According to the official notice, NTA received multiple representations from candidates pointing out that the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 is also scheduled for July 26 and 27, 2025, coinciding with the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam. To accommodate the candidates, the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam date has been rescheduled to July 28, 2025.
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates that Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 Examination is also scheduled on the same date(s), i.e. 26th & 27th July 2025 with the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam. In the interest of aspirants, the exam of Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 now will be held,” reads the official notice.
The exam will be conducted on the same day for all subjects, including mathematics, earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, and physical sciences.
Information regarding the exam city will be provided through an Advance City Intimation Slip 8-10 days before the examination.
The written exam will be administered in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. It will consist of three sections, all featuring objective-type multiple-choice questions, with no break between papers. The paper will be bilingual, in both Hindi and English. Candidates must answer in the language selected in their Application Form.
This exam is held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to Ph.D., and admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges through a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
