The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET-UG) will take place in May 2026. Before the application process begins, the agency urges candidates to ensure their Aadhaar details, UDID cards, and category certificates are updated to prevent discrepancies, grievances, or potential rejection of applications later on.
NTA will soon open the online application window for CUET-UG 2026 registration on its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The entrance test is for undergraduate admissions to 47 central universities and over 300 colleges across India.
To streamline the registration process for CUET (UG)-2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) advises all eligible aspirants to update their documents well before the application window opens.
Candidates must ensure their Aadhaar card has the correct name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.
Persons with disabilities should keep their UDID card or disability certificate valid, updated, and renewed as necessary.
Additionally, applicants should verify that their category certificate is current to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or rejection at later stages of the admission process.
