The second phase for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses of Delhi University is going to start. Students who have passed CUET UG 2025 can choose the college and course of their choice on DU’s admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in, from July 8, 2025. The first phase of admission in DU, that is, the registration process is currently going on. Students who have not registered yet can fill the form till July 14.
This time, DU will give admission on 71,624 seats across 69 colleges. The admission process has been made easier with new features like auto-accept feature. In the second step, students will have to choose their preferences (programme and college) carefully. Once submitted, the form will not open again. DU has advised that students keep their list of preferences ready and submit it before the deadline. This process will be based on CUET score and 10th class marks have also been included in the new tie-breaker policy.
Delhi University Admission Schedule 2025
Delhi University has set a target to start the new academic session from August 1, 2025. Therefore, it is important to apply on time. Delhi University has announced the start of the second phase under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2025. The time given for filling the preferences is from July 8 to 14 up to 11:59 pm. Even if the student does not click on submit, the options will automatically freeze through auto-locking.
Delhi University has also started a correction window this time. Students who have already registered can open their form once and make corrections from July 6 to 11 at 11:59 pm.
What Is Auto Accept System In DU?
Delhi University has introduced a new facility this year. It is being called the auto-accept system. This means that if a student does not accept the seat manually within the stipulated time limit, the system will automatically allot the seat. This will prevent any student from losing the seat due to technical problems. This year, a total of 71,624 seats are available in 69 colleges in DU under 69 programmes.

Application verification by college (Round 1) – July 19 to July 22 till 4:59 PM
Last date for online fee payment (Round 1) – July 23 at 4:59 PM
List of vacant seats for students – July 24 at 5:00 pm
Preferences re-order window – July 24 to July 25 at 4:59 PM
Second allotment list released – July 28, at 5 pm
Seat Acceptance (Round 2) – July 28 to July 30 till 4:59 PM
Application verification by college (Round 2) – July 28 to July 31
Last date for online fee payment (Round 2) – August 1 at 4:59 PM
