Ducati Diavel V4 RS leaked; launch expected in 2026

Ducati is readying a spicier version of its Diavel power cruiser. And just like the Multistrada V4 RS, it could use the Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine derived from the Streetfighter and Panigale models.

  1. Ducati Diavel V4 RS is set to launch in 2026
  2. It will likely feature a Panigale V4-derived engine

Ducati Diavel V4 RS: what do we know?

It is expected to be a limited-production model with individually numbered units.

This information comes from the same leaked document that confirmed that the next-generation Monster and DesertX will feature the 890cc engine. Published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the US, the document contains two mentions of the Diavel V4 RS and confirms that Ducati plans to launch this model in 2026.

The Multistrada V4 RS’ engine makes 180hp and 118Nm of torque, which is a sizeable jump over the other Ducati’s ADV bikes that make 170hp and 124Nm. Similarly, if Ducati does equip the Diavel V4 RS with the same Panigale-derived engine, the power cruiser will see a substantial boost to its peak output. The current Diavel V4 is also quite a heavy thing, at 236kg, so Ducati could perhaps equip the Diavel V4 RS with lighter parts and shave off some weight.

To date, Ducati has launched two models with the RS suffix: the Monster S4Rs and the more recent Multistrada V4 RS. Much like the previous RS models, this one is expected to be a limited, numbered series. This higher-spec model appears to be part of Ducati’s 2026 line-up and should debut in the coming months.
