IIT Guwahati will soon release the GATE 2026 admit card on gate2026.iitg.ac.in for MTech, MS and PhD aspirants. The exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14 and 15.

GATE 2026 Admit Card: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) will issue the GATE 2026 admit cards for candidates applying to MTech, MS and PhD programmes soon. The institute has postponed the release of the hall ticket and is expected to announce a revised date shortly.

Once released, candidates will be able to download the GATE 2026 admit card from the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. To access the hall ticket, applicants will need their enrolment ID and password.

IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 examination on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, in two shifts each day. The forenoon shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the afternoon shift will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

GATE 2026 Admit Card: How To Download?

Once released, candidates can download the GATE 2026 admit card by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the link titled “GATE 2026 Admit Card” on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter the required login details.

Step 4: Submit the details to access the hall ticket.

Step 5: The GATE 2026 admit card will appear on the screen in PDF format.

Step 6: Download and save the admit card, and take a printout for future reference.

The admit card will carry important details such as the candidate’s name, enrolment ID, exam centre address, exam date and time, paper code, and category, among others. Candidates will be required to carry the admit card to the examination centre on the day of the test.

As per the official schedule, the GATE 2026 results are expected to be declared tentatively on March 19. The GATE 2026 score will remain valid for three years from the date of announcement.
