Hero’s electric subsidiary, Vida, is gearing up for a new product launch on July 1. Images of an undisguised Vida VX2 have surfaced online, suggesting that this could be the budget product Vida plans to unveil at the event.
- Vida VX2 could be launched on July 1
- VX2 has fewer features than Vida V2 models
Hero Vida VX2 comes with a Plus suffix
It carries the same design as the Vida Z concept
The Vida VX2 has been spotted undisguised at a dealership and its design is similar to the Vida Z that was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This particular VX2 is also finished in the same yellow paint scheme as the one spotted earlier undisguised during testing. The tail-lamp and headlight are shared with the V2 range. However, the TFT display appears to be smaller, and there’s a physical key slot, hinting at its budget-oriented intent. The switchgear also seems to be borrowed from the Vida V2 and Destini 125.

The VX2 carries a ‘Plus’ suffix, hinting at a variant bifurcation that might include multiple battery pack options. The V2 is currently offered in three battery choices (2.2, 3.4, 3.94kWh), but whether all three will be available on the VX2 remains to be seen. The VX2 also seems to carry the same 12-inch wheels from the V2 range.
We have received an official invite from Vida regarding an upcoming launch on July 1, and we expect the VX2 could be launched then. Upon launch, it will sit below the V2 range.
