Holika Dahan Puja Vidhi, Procedure, Timings & Other Details

Holi 2025 Puja Vidhi, Muhurat, Time, Samagri, Mantra: Holi, also known as the Festival of Colours, is a vibrant and colourful Hindu festival that signifies the end of winter and the start of spring. The festival is celebrated for two days with the first day called Holika Dahan or Jalawali Holi. It commemorates the victory of good over evil, rooted in the story of Prahlada’s devotion to Lord Vishnu and Holika’s demise, symbolizing letting go of negativity and inviting prosperity

Next is the main day of Holi, known as Rangwali Holi or Dhulandi, which is celebrated with dry gulaal and watercolours. People celebrate this day by playing with colours and water, baking tasty treats, and spending time with friends and family. By following these rituals with devotion, families can celebrate Holi with joy and spiritual fulfilment.
