In its April sales report, Honda Cars India announced it would decrease the price of select Elevate variants. Kunal Behl, VP, marketing and sales said, “We are introducing certain grades of Elevate at attractive new price point along with other benefits in the month of May ensuring greater value for our customers.” We can now confirm that the lower-spec variants have seen a price cut.

Sources have revealed to Autocar India that it is the lower-spec Honda Elevate V trim that sees a price cut to the tune of Rs 32,000. The V variants were priced at Rs 12.71 lakh (MT) and 13.91 lakh (CVT) respectively, but now cost Rs 12.39 lakh and Rs 13.59 lakh, respectively.
Prices for the rest of the Honda Elevate range remain unchanged. The line-up starts at Rs 11.91 lakh for the base SV variant, and goes up to Rs 16.73 lakh for the recently launched top-spec ZX Black CVT variant. Other than the Black, all other Elevate trims get a Platinum White Pearl exterior colour that is a Rs 8,000 extra.
There are no other changes to Honda’s rival to the Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.

Honda car sales in India drop 22.78 percent year-on-year
In April, Honda reported a sharp 55.18 percent decline, with just 4,871 units despatched (including exports) compared to the 10,867 units sold in the same month last year. Of the 4,871 unit total, 3,360 units were despatched to Honda dealers in India in the month, marking a year-on-year drop of 22.78 percent over the 4,351 units in April 2024.
