“I wish I could change people’s days. If someone is sad and comes to the match, they watch me play and their day gets better, then they go home happier than before,” the 18-year-old said.
“Football is everything to me. You can evoke so many emotions that depend solely on the presence of a ball,” the Spanish star added.
“I love football because it’s one of the sports that puts everyone on an equal footing,” the wunderkind believes.
Yamal revealed his excitement about gaining admiration from people of diverse backgrounds for his skills on the field. Since debuting with the Blaugrana, he has significantly impacted the football world, leading the team to the La Liga title last year under Hansi Flick’s guidance.
