IBPS PO, SO Registration 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will close the extended registration-cum-application window for more than 6,000 vacancies for Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO) today, July 28, 2025. Eligible candidates who haven’t filled out the application yet can do so by visiting the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
After the registration window closes, candidates will get two days to make corrections in their submitted forms. The form correction window will be open from July 31 to August 1.
“A candidate will be allowed to correct and resubmit the modified/ corrected application only once during the ‘Edit Window to Modify/ Correct Application Form’ i.e. no updation will be allowed in case a candidate makes a mistake in uthe pdated application. Before submission of the corrected application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form,” IBPS said.
Candidates must note that a fee of Rs 200 will be charged for making corrections, irrespective of category.
IBPS Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Probationary Officer (PO):
A graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
Age: 20 to 30 years as of July 1, 2025.
Specialist Officer (SO):
Educational qualifications vary by role (e.g., IT Officer, Law Officer, HR Officer).
Age: 20 to 30 years for all SO posts.
Candidates must refer to the detailed IBPS notification for post-specific qualifications.

Step 1: Visit the official website: ibps.in.
Step 2: Click on the PO or SO application link visible on the homepage.
Step 3: Open the registration page.
Step 4: Enter the required details and complete registration.
Step 5: Log in using your credentials.
Step 6: Fill out the application form.
Step 7: Upload necessary documents and pay the application fee.
Step 8: Submit the form and save a copy for future reference.
