IIT Delhi will host ‘Anveshan 2026’ on March 21, inviting final-year UG and PG students to visit the campus, interact with faculty and explore higher study options.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will organise “Anveshan: Innovation & Exploration Across Disciplines” for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students on March 21, 2026, at its Hauz Khas campus.
The programme is aimed at students who are considering higher studies at IIT Delhi. Participants will get a chance to visit the campus and interact with faculty members and current students. The institute said the initiative is meant to help students make informed career choices and receive guidance about academic opportunities.

Anveshan is being organised under the #ExperienceIITD initiative by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives.
Outreach Activities
As part of the same initiative, IIT Delhi recently conducted an Open House in Kota where JEE aspirants interacted with institute students and faculty members. The session focused on preparation strategies and guidance for engineering entrance examinations.
The institute has also planned Open House events in Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru on June 6 and 7, 2026, for JEE Advanced qualified students. An online interaction session, “IITD Calling”, is scheduled for June 5, 2026. Further details will be shared on the academic outreach website.
Admissions for 2026–27
IIT Delhi has opened the admission portal for foreign nationals seeking entry into PhD and postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2026–27 (first semester). The last date to apply is March 30, 2026, by 4 pm IST, and details are available on the institute’s admissions portal.
The admission portal for Indian applicants for PhD, MTech, MS (Research), MDes, MPP, MA and MSc programmes will open in the third week of March 2026. Candidates have been advised to check the institute website regularly for updates regarding the next admission cycle.
