Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: Who Can Apply?
Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have a graduation degree such as BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, MSc, ME, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, PGDCA, or PGDBA. Degrees in engineering, management, or technical fields are eligible. A professional course related to banking or finance is an added advantage.
Age Limit: The age limit is between 24 and 40 years, with some age relaxation for certain categories: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, and Divyang (PwBD) candidates get up to 10 years relaxation.
Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process for this IOB recruitment involves three stages. First, there will be an online written exam with 100 objective-type questions, worth 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. The exam includes 25 questions on the English language (25 marks) with a time limit of 30 minutes, 25 questions on general awareness, and 50 questions on professional knowledge (50 marks) to be answered in 60 minutes. The qualifying marks are 35% for the general category and 30% for the reserved category.
Candidates who pass the exam will proceed to a personal interview to assess their confidence and knowledge. The final stage is document verification, where your certificates and ID will be checked. There is no mention of negative marking in the exam, but it is advisable to answer questions carefully.
Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 1,000 for General/OBC/EWS category candidates and Rs 175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Be ready to make the payment online using UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.

Step 5 – After registration, log in and begin filling out the application form.
Step 6 – Upload your details including name, education, photo, and signature.
Step 7 – Pay the fee as per your category.
Step 8 – Submit the form and take a printout for your records.
Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: Salary
Once employed as an apprentice in IOB, the salary will be in two scales:
MMGS II: Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960 per month
MMGS III: Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280 per month
