NTA has released JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 final answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in and dropped three questions.

JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 final answer key has been released.
JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Final Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Paper 2. Candidates can download the PDF from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The agency has dropped three questions from the Session 1 Paper 2 final answer key. The JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 result is expected to be announced shortly. To check the result, candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.
The Paper 2 examination was conducted on January 29, 2026. Candidates were allowed to challenge the provisional answer key between February 19 and 20.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will get four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
How To Download JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 final Answer Key?
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Go to the public notices section on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on “Final Answer Keys for JEE(Main) – 2026 [Session-1] [Paper-II (B.Arch / B.Planning)]”.
Step 4: The PDF will open on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a printout for reference.
Meanwhile, the NTA has also opened the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Interested candidates can apply on the official website before February 25. The Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9 in two shifts each day.

The agency has also announced a correction facility for candidates who have already submitted their Session 2 application forms. According to the notice issued on February 21, 2026, the correction window will remain open from February 27 to February 28 till 11:50 pm. No further corrections will be allowed after the deadline.
JEE Main is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes in institutions such as NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026 for admission to IITs.
