The Delhi government has started registrations for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2025) under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission, aiming to provide coaching to government school students for top competitive exams, officials announced on Friday.
A circular from the Directorate of Education (DoE) stated that the entrance tests will take place between October 12 and October 26 at government schools across Delhi.
This initiative will assist students in preparing for competitive entrance exams such as JEE (Main/Advanced), NEET, CLAT, CA Foundation, and CUET (UG), according to the circular.
The scheme offers a total of 2,200 seats across various courses. Each of the JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation exams will have 50 seats reserved for girls. CUET will provide 1,000 seats, with 150 seats reserved for girls. The coaching will be conducted through empanelled institutions in Delhi, covering course fees, study material, and test papers.
Students in class 11 are eligible for JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation preparation, while class 12 students from all streams can apply for CUET coaching.
Registrations will be open from September 11 to September 30.
Students are allowed to register for only one course and cannot change their course once registered. Admit cards will be available two days before the exam date.
The DoE will generate roll numbers and assign examination centres five days prior to the scheduled exam. Selected students will be invited for counselling sessions where they can choose their preferred coaching institute.
