The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the examination schedule for classes 8, 9, and 11. According to the schedule released today (January 30), Class 8 exams will start on February 24, Class 9 exams on February 28, and Class 11 exams on February 25.
For Class 11, the timetable specifies three papers, each conducted in two shifts. Paper I will be held from 10:45 am to 12 pm in the morning and from 2 pm to 3:15 pm in the afternoon. Paper II will take place from 10:45 am to 1 pm in the morning and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm in the afternoon. Paper III will also be in two sessions, from 10:45 am to 1 pm in the morning and from 2 pm to 3:15 pm in the afternoon.
Class 9 exams have different timings. Papers 1 and 3 will be conducted from 9:45 am to 1 pm in the morning session, while Paper 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm in the afternoon.
JAC Class 1 to 7 Exams
Annual examinations for grades 1 to 7 will be held at the school level in the third week of March. The Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training (JSCERT) will conduct these exams. Exams for grades 1 and 2 will be oral, while those for grades 3 to 7 will be written. This decision was made to provide schools with flexible timing and for the convenience of students.

Meanwhile, JAC Class 10 exams 2026 will be held from February 3 to February 17, and JAC Class 12 exams 2026 are scheduled from February 3 to February 23. The matric exams will be in the first shift (9:45 am to 1:00 pm) and the intermediate exams in the second shift (2:00 pm to 5:15 pm). The evaluation process is expected to begin in March, with JAC likely to announce the Class 10 and 12 results by the end of April 2026.
The admit cards for JAC Class 10 and 12 board exams have been released. Students should contact their school authorities to access the hall tickets for their board exams starting next week.
