McGregor responded to an invitation from the Kabhib, who called the Irishman to his rehabilitation centre in Dagestan sparking a war of words between mixed martial artists.

The war of words between mixed martial artists Kabhib Numagomedev and Conor McGregor sparked off yet again as the Irishman responded to an invitation from the Russian, who called McGregor to his rehabilitation centre in Dagestan.
Khabib made McGregor tap out in the bout between the duo back in 2018 ad the Irishman hasn’t been the same ever since.
“My count is 56 former drug addicts, at my rehabilitation centers in Dagestan, that I treated. Come to Dagestan @TheNotoriousMMA they’ll take care of you here. Mexico didn’t help you, as far as I can see,” the Russian said.
McGregor responded, “And who will I be meeting there because it won’t be you. Lol. You can’t scam me with your lies. You tax dodging scammer on the run. Your poor family, I pray. I pray I pray I pray. While you lie. You should just be honest because Allah knows all.”
After witnessing his protege, Islam Makachev, secure the welterweight title from Jack Della Maddalena, Khabib, now retired, took to X to announce his new venture: selling digital papakhas, the traditional headwear he popularized during his UFC career.
Soon after, the former UFC champion deleted all related posts, leaving many puzzled and wondering if it was part of a hoax. McGregor criticized Khabib, accusing him of trying to ‘scam’ his fans.
“There’s no way good guy Khabib would use his late father’s name and Dagestan’s culture to scam his fans, fire selling a bunch of digital NFTs online, and then delete all the content after they were sold, leaving fans robbed of their money.”
“What a shame and a stain on his father’s name. Just wow! Scamming fans using his father and his country’s culture is just so low,” the post read.
“Father’s plan has now become father’s scam. Very sad,” McGregor continued.
