Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round must confirm their choices—freeze, float, or exit—between August 4 and 7, according to the official counselling schedule. Here are the options available to candidates:
Choice 1: Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat should pay the fees, download the admission order, and report to the college with original documents for verification. If allocated their first preference, they will not be eligible for subsequent rounds of counselling.
Choice 2: Candidates satisfied but wishing to participate in the second round need not join the college but should wait for the next round.
Choice 3: Candidates unsatisfied but wanting to participate in the next round without holding any seat may choose to continue.
Choice 4: Candidates have the option to exit the allotment process.
The KCET seat allotment process comprises three rounds: Round 1, Round 2, and the second extended round, also known as the vacancy round.
