Kusha Kapila, an actor and social media influencer, recently addressed about a Facebook account that has been soliciting money using her name. On Saturday, she shared a clarification through her Instagram Stories, although she later deleted the post.
Kusha Kapila warns fans about fake Facebook account asking for money in her name
Kusha posted a screenshot of the Facebook account, which featured her profile picture and name. The bio of the account read, “Small and stupid.” The account has 122K followers and follows only three people.
Kusha clarified by sharing the screenshot, writing, “Apologies for highlighting this at a time like this but this Facebook page is not owned/ run by me. Please ignore all inappropriate messages/money requests.”
She also added, “Thank you to everyone who brought this to my attention. Please stop interacting with this page, thinking it’s me.” On Instagram, Kusha has 4.2 million followers and follows 2,732 accounts.
Recently, Kusha responded to a person who used a derogatory term on one of her Instagram posts. She shared a collage of herself enjoying the views on her Instagram Stories, along with a screenshot of his message. Kusha wrote, “Satyam ki wajah se kitney logon ki mental health kharab rehti hogi. I offer to pay for two years’ worth of therapy and inner work for you so you don’t feel compelled to show your darindigi at the sight of a happy woman.”
She added, “It’s because of people like Satyam that people’s mental health is affected. I offer to pay for two years’ worth of therapy and inner work for you so you don’t feel compelled to show your brutality at the sight of a happy woman.”
Kusha has appeared in several films, including Ghost Stories, Plan A Plan B, Selfiee, Thank You for Coming, Sukhee, and Ishq Vishk Rebound.
She has also starred in numerous web series like Masaba Masaba season two, Case Toh Banta Hai, Minus One: New Chapter, Dehati Ladke Chaya, and Life Hill Gayi.
A few years ago, Kusha moved to Mumbai. She was previously married to Zorawar Ahluwalia, and they tied the knot in 2018 but separated in 2023.
