KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a joint notification for the recruitment of thousands of positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas. The recruitment process will cover 9,156 positions, with more than 7,444 roles for teaching staff and around 1,712 for non-teaching staff.
A brief notification indicates that applications will open tomorrow, November 14, 2025, with the deadline on December 14, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official websites: cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in, or navodaya.gov.in.

KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for PRT positions is 30 years, for TGT roles it is 35 years, and for PGT posts it is 40 years.
Educational Qualification for PRT:
– 12th pass with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
– 12th pass with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.El.Ed course, OR
– 12th pass with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Special Education, OR
– All candidates must have passed CTET Paper 1 and be proficient in reading English and Hindi.
Educational Qualification for TGT:
Candidates applying for TGT positions must have completed Graduation, B.Ed, and passed CTET.
Educational Qualification for PGT:
– Two-year integrated PG Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the relevant subject, OR
– Master’s Degree. B.Ed. or an equivalent degree from a recognised university. Proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi is required along with knowledge of Computer Applications.
KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
This year, the recruitment process for Kendriya Vidyalayas will have a three-stage examination for teachers: a preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview. The selection process will be available in the detailed notification set to be released tomorrow. Previously, selection was based on a written exam and an interview.
