The provisional answer key for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test or MAHA TET 2025 has been released. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check the answer key on the official MAHA TET website, mahatet.in. Candidates can raise objection, if any, till December 27.
The MAHA TET Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams were held on November 23, 2025, in two shifts: from 10:30 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Paper 1 is held for teaching positions in classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for teaching positions in classes 6 to 8.

Step 1 – Visit the official MAHA TET website — mahatet.in.
Step 2 – Click on the link that says MAHA TET Answer Key 2025.
Step 3 – Enter the required details.
Step 4 – Your MAHA TET Answer Key 2025 will appear on the screen.
Step 5 – Download the answer key and save it for future reference.
Step 6 – To raise objection, candidates must select the questions and upload substantial documents.
Step 7 – Pay the requisite fees.
Step 8 – Submit the challenge and save a copy of the page for further use.
MAHA TET Answer Key 2025: Marking Scheme
The exam was conducted in Marathi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu, Sindhi, Kannada and Hindi languages. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions. One mark is awarded for each correct answer. There is no penalty for wrong answers neither is there any penalty for questions left unanswered. Candidates can use the answer key and response sheet along with the marking scheme to calculate their probable scores.
MAHA TET Answer Key 2025: What’s Next
The result and final answer key will be based on the objections raised. Those who pass the MAHA TET will receive an eligibility certificate from MSCE, which is required for applying to teaching positions in schools across Maharashtra. However, passing the exam does not guarantee employment, as candidates will need to apply for job openings as per recruitment notifications.
