MAHA TET 2025 Registration: How To Apply? (Representative image/File)
The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, has initiated the registration process for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2025 today, September 15. Interested and eligible candidates can register on mahatet.in until October 3, 2025.
According to the schedule, MAHATET 2025 will be held on November 23, 2025, in two sessions. Paper 1, for teaching positions in classes 1 to 5, will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1 pm, while Paper 2, for teaching positions in classes 6 to 8, will take place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates wishing to appear for both levels can opt for the combined option in a single application form. Authorities will issue hall tickets on November 10, 2025, at mahatet.in and mscepune.in.
MAHA TET 2025: How To Apply?
Step 1 – Go to the official website of MAHA TET which is mahatet.in
Step 2 – On the homepage, click on the MAHA TET 2025 registration link
Step 3 – Enter the required credentials to sign up
Step 4 – Fill in the form with the required information
Step 5 – Pay the application fees and submit the form
Step 6 – Save and download the application form for further use
The exam will be conducted in Marathi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu, Sindhi, Kannada and Hindi languages. Maharashtra TET comprises Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for teaching classes 1st to 5th and Paper 2 is conducted for teaching classes 6th to 8th.
Additionally, candidates who engaged in unfair practices in MAHATET 2018 and 2019 have been permanently debarred from appearing in the exam. “Their candidature is cancelled, and they cannot apply for MAHATET 2025. If any such barred candidate applies with false information, strict legal action will be taken,” the official notification stated.
