MG ZS EV price vs rivals
ZS EV is most affordable following price revision
The MG ZS EV was the first mainstream midsize electric SUV in its segment, but of late, the segment has heated up with the likes of the Mahindra BE 6 (Rs 18.90 lakh – Rs 26.90 lakh), Hyundai Creta Electric (Rs 17.99 lakh – Rs 24.38 lakh), Tata Curvv EV (Rs 17.49 lakh – Rs 22.24 lakh) and even MG’s own Windsor (Rs 14.75 – 19.26 lakh).
The ZS EV’s rivals are certainly a lot more modern, better equipped and offer better range and performance, too. Following this price revision, the ZS EV makes for a value purchase, especially the top-spec trims, which are now the most affordable in the segment.
The ZS EV averaged monthly sales of more than 1,800 units even a year ago in June 2024. However, the electric SUV just sold 360 units last month, which is, no doubt, a sign of the increased competition in this segment.
