MIA, MSME & GSK Blood Centre host mega blood donation camp | Nagpur News

Nagpur: A blood donation and health check-up camp was organised on Saturday at the MIDC Industries Association (MIA) premises in Hingna, in a joint effort by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Nagpur Division, and the GSK Blood Centre.The camp received a positive response, with a focus on awareness of community health and the importance of voluntary blood donation. Medical supervision was provided by Dr Ashish Khandelwal and Dr Shweta Khandelwal, who ensured the smooth and hygienic conduct of the blood donation process. Organisers confirmed that the collected blood units would support life-saving treatments at regional hospitals.Speaking at the event, MIA President P. Mohan said, “This initiative is a reflection of our collective commitment towards social responsibility. The industrial fraternity has once again demonstrated its willingness to serve society beyond business.”MIA , executive president Sachin Jain, treasurer Manish Sawal, vice-president KK Daga, and MSME joint director Vijay Sirsat were among the key dignitaries present at the event. Several office-bearers and senior members from the industrial community also attended, with many participating in the blood donation drive.The camp was coordinated by Abhay Nath, deputy director, MSME Nagpur Division, with operational support from Team MIA to ensure smooth conduct of activities.
