The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) began the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2025 counselling process for round 2 on December 5. The choice filling process began on December 6, and was set to end on December 9. However, now it has been extended till December 14. The choice locking process, which began today, December 13 will also conclude tomorrow.

The processing of seat allocation will take place between December 15 and 16, with the results set to be announced on December 16. To reserve the seats, selected candidates will have to report to the assigned colleges and pay the admission fee between December 17 and 25. The verification process of the joined candidates will be completed by the institutes on December 26.

NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling Process

Step 1: Visit the official website of the MCC at mcc.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the NEET PG 2025 counselling link

Step 3: Enter your registration number and other required details

Step 4: Submit your choice of colleges and other preferences

Step 5: Submit. Save and download the page for future reference.

– NEET PG 2025 admit card

– NEET PG 2025 rank card

– Four copies of recent passport-size photograph

– Verified slip and seat allotment letter

– Final MBBS or BDS mark sheet

– MBBS, BDS degree certificate, or provisional degree certificate

– Permanent registration certificate

– Domicile certificate

A total of 26,889 candidates, including 466 Non-Resident Indians (NRI), were allocated seats in the first round of counselling. MCC conducts four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for NEET PG candidates, which include Round 1, Round 2, the Mop-up round, and the Stray vacancy round.

Candidates seeking admission to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses at various government and private institutions, as well as 100 per cent seats in deemed and central universities, can apply on the official website once the link is activated.
