NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin NEET UG 2025 Round 1 counselling registration from today. Only candidates who have scored above the NEET UG cut-off are eligible to apply for this process. If you’re aiming for a seat in a top medical college, it is mandatory to take part in the counselling to find out if you qualify for admission to your preferred college.
This year, over 12 lakh students have qualified in the NEET UG exam. These candidates will now be competing for around 1.15 lakh MBBS seats available across India in various government and private medical colleges.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET UG counselling for admissions to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), and other allied medical courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ). These seats are available in government medical and dental colleges across India.
The remaining 85% of seats are filled through state-level counselling, which is handled by the respective state authorities based on candidates’ NEET UG scores.

Several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Punjab, Assam, and Telangana, have already begun the registration process for their respective NEET UG 2025 counselling.

Follow these steps to register for MCC’s NEET UG 2025 counselling:
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the link for NEET UG 2025 Registration.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, create a password, and submit the registration form.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee online and save the confirmation page.
Step 6: Download the filled NEET UG counselling form and take a printout for future use.

NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
Birth certificate (if not mentioned in Class 10 certificate)
Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates, if applicable)
Domicile certificate (for State Quota seats)
Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in NEET application)
Migration certificate (if applicable)
