The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that Round 2 of NEET UG Counselling 2025 will commence on August 29, 2025. Candidates interested in participating in the second round of counselling can submit their applications on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in. The round 2 counselling process was initially set to begin on August 29.
The MCC has issued an official notice stating that the full schedule for Round 2 will be released soon. “In order to include newly authorized MBBS seats in Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025, the competent authority has decided to start the Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025 from 29th Aug., 2025 tentatively. However, the revised schedule for Round-2 will be published shortly,” reads the official notice.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: How To Register For Round 2?
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the link for NEET UG 2025 Registration.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, create a password, and submit the registration form.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee online and save the confirmation page.
Step 6: Download the filled NEET UG counselling form and take a printout for future use.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents Required
— NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
— Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
— Birth certificate (if not mentioned in Class 10 certificate)
— Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates, if applicable)
— Domicile certificate (for State Quota seats)
— Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in NEET application)
— Migration certificate (if applicable)
— Medical fitness certificate
MCC manages NEET UG counselling for admissions to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), and other related medical courses under the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ). These seats are offered in government medical and dental colleges across India. The remaining 85 per cent of seats are allocated through state-level counselling, conducted by the respective state authorities based on candidates’ NEET UG scores.
