The Medical Counselling Committee has updated the NEET UG Counselling 2025 schedule, specifically the stray vacancy round. Candidates who are set to apply for the stray vacancy round can access and view the revised schedule on the MCC’s official website at mcc.nic.in.
According to the new timeline, the registration window for the NEET UG 2025 stray vacancy round will open on November 4 and close on November 9, 2025. The choice filling process will start on November 5 and conclude on November 9.
The seat allotment will take place between November 10 and November 11, and the Round 3 merit list will be announced on November 12. Candidates who are selected must report to the assigned colleges between November 13 and November 20.
MCC has also issued the final seat allotment list for round 3.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: How To Register For Stray Vacancy?
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the link for NEET UG 2025 Registration.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, create a password, and submit the registration form.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee online and save the confirmation page.
Step 6: Download the filled NEET UG counselling form and take a printout for future use.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents Required
— NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
— Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
— Birth certificate (if not mentioned in Class 10 certificate)
— Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates, if applicable)
— Domicile certificate (for State Quota seats)
— Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in NEET application)
— Migration certificate (if applicable)
— Medical fitness certificate
MCC manages NEET UG counselling for admissions to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), and other related medical courses under the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ). These seats are offered in government medical and dental colleges across India. The remaining 85 per cent of seats are allocated through state-level counselling, conducted by the respective state authorities based on candidates’ NEET UG scores.
