In the video, Neha Kakkar said, “Hi, you want to know what actually happened at the Melbourne show, right? Let me show you.” It then cuts to energetic scenes from the concert, with a lively crowd dancing and singing along to her popular songs. She captioned the video, “Thank you Melbourne!”
In a separate Instagram Story, Neha wrote, “Can’t forget the love you showered Melbourne.”
A few days ago, Australian event organisers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa refuted Neha Kakkar’s version of events, claiming that she refused to perform for just 700 people. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, they mentioned Neha had two back-to-back shows with them, one in Sydney, attended by 1,500–2,000 people, which went smoothly.
The second show took place the following day in Melbourne and drew only 700 attendees. It was for this event that Neha reportedly arrived three hours late. “The crowd was very angry at her because they had been waiting for hours,” the organisers said, adding that tickets cost around 300 AUD (approximately Rs 16,000).
They alleged that Neha Kakkar refused to perform, demanding a fuller audience. “What I got to know from the organiser was that she said that there are just 700 people, so until you fill up the stadium, I won’t perform,” they claimed. Neha reportedly arrived three hours late, and a viral video showed her being booed on stage. Following online backlash, Neha alleged the organisers withheld her payment and failed to provide basic necessities like food and accommodation in Melbourne.
