North India cotton yarn prices steady amid muted demand

In the Ludhiana market, cotton yarn prices ruled steady amid average demand conditions. A Ludhiana-based trader told Fibre*Fashion, “Slow lifting of fabric in downstream segments kept yarn demand subdued, preventing any meaningful price movement. Mills refrained from aggressive price hikes as buying interest remained limited. Unless fabric offtake improves, yarn prices are likely to remain range-bound despite routine enquiries from export-oriented buyers.”
