Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan attended the 9th edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, an annual event led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, held at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium. Pradhan highlighted on X that ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ has become a nationwide movement fostering a supportive environment, celebrating each child’s individuality and encouraging them to excel without fear.

“A delight to attend PM Shri Narendra Modiji’s masterclass with Parliamentary colleagues and dear students at GMC Balayogi Auditorium. Not just our #ExamWarriors, Pariksha Pe Charcha has something to offer to everyone. Driven by PM Modi ji’s vision, PPC has truly evolved into a nation-wide movement to create an enabling environment where every child’s individuality is recognised, celebrated, nurtured and encouraged to excel without fear,” the Education Minister posted on X.

During the event, PM Modi interacted with selected students, urging them to trust their own study patterns while being open to advice. He emphasised balancing self-belief with continuous learning and focusing on what works best for them, considering others’ suggestions thoughtfully. PM Modi also underscored the role of teachers, suggesting they stay a step ahead of students to inspire growth, setting goals that are within reach but challenging.

Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood, who attended the event, encouraged students to approach examinations with confidence and balance, emphasising that marksheets do not define a person’s identity. He highlighted that mindset and self-belief are the true strengths.

The minister watched the live interaction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with students and noted that the initiative aimed to shift focus from marks to mental well-being and confidence. He urged students to stay focused on their goals, stating that consistent effort and effective time management are essential for success. He also recommended maintaining a healthy balance between studies, sports, and other activities for overall development.

He suggested that students make daily to-do lists to use their time productively, calling it a habit that would benefit them beyond academics. Sood emphasised that examinations should not be seen as the ultimate measure of life, noting that Prime Minister Modi has been working to change the mindset that board exam success alone determines one’s future.

Sood also mentioned that it is neither possible nor necessary for every student to enter IITs or medical colleges, stressing the need for diverse talents in the country, including writers, artists, scientists, and innovators.
