“People have an opinion about me and I can’t change that,” the midfielder said.
“People want to judge you on what they see. Most of them what they see on the pitch, some of them what they see on the telly, some of them what they see in interviews,” he added.
“I can’t change that because people have the freedom to think the way they want about me, as I do about them.”
“But what I don’t di is, I don’t judge people till I know them,” Fernandes added.
“I don’t think it is wrong, it is part of the job and part of life because we judge people in our lives sometimes without knowing them sometimes and it is not always the correct judgement,” the 31-year-old said.
“So they can have an opinion about me and that’s fine,” he continued.
“We all have different opinions and that’s why life is good. It’d be boring if everyone thought the me way,” he explained.
